PA1 – My environment. Things around me

– The space I have chosen for this task is the Príncipe de Asturias Park located in Mislata –

As we can see, it is a wide space surrounded by life and color. On the one hand, we are surrounded by trees, gardens and children enjoying the afternoon. And on the other, we can see all the colors that make up the park and that give it a very cheerful touch.

Also, if we look at the small details, we can see that the park seems to simulate being a ship with all the windows on the sides and the sails on the top.

As for the colors, the great variety and the brightness that they have on the floor of the enclosure give it a very lively and lively air that makes you get the best of yourself.

  • Why did you choose this place?

When they told us about the task we had to carry out, I was very clear from the first moment which place I was going to choose: the Príncipe de Asturias Park in Mislata.

Why? Since I can remember I have been going to that park. It was, and even now that I no longer live there, the meeting place of my friends. I have spent thousands of hours and thousands of afternoons there, I have laughed, I have cried, and even broken some bones. And despite the weather, it will always be a place where I keep many memories and where I will always like to go.

  • What makes you comfortable?

What makes me feel comfortable in this place is the amount of memories I have of that park since I was very little. Therefore, when I walk there it feels like a second home.

  • There is some disruptive element?

An element that I consider disruptive in the environment is the proximity of the buildings to the park.
They are too close and sometimes areannoying being so close, however, on the other side there is a large esplanade where you can play freely, so the buildings are not so annoying.

  • Do you think you’d feel the same way in another space right now?

I really do not consider that there is another place like it that can replace it, because the memories that I keep in this park I do not have in any other. Therefore, I can affirm that no other could be the same.

  • Do you think that the conditions of this space influence its occupants? How?

Obviously the conditions of a space influence the occupants. The simple fact of whether the space is clean, cared for, or whether or not there are people around, already influences its occupants. That is why when we go to a restaurant that is empty it does not encourage us to go in. On the other hand, when we see a restaurant full of people and that it is animated, it encourages us to go in.

This also happens in public spaces. A clear example of this is the Príncipe de Asturias Park, a well-kept and green park that is constantly full of children and young people.
